Ram Pickup Truck Recall Is Expanded Because of Tailgate Risk
Consumer Reports - 9/10/2019 - Jon Linkov and Jeff S. Bartlett - Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) is expanding its recall of Ram pickup trucks because of concerns that the tailgate could open unexpectedly.
The expanded recall is for 2013 to 2018 Ram 1500, 2500, and 3500 pickup trucks. If these vehicles are in motion, there's a risk that cargo could tumble onto the road, creating a dangerous hazard, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
