Study: India the World's Newest Economic Pacesetter

US News and World Report - 7/10/2017 - Andrew Soergel - For years, China was regarded as the globe's bastion for economic growth. But a new study predicts those days are fading further into the rearview mirror as the Asian economic titan slows its roll. India appears to have snatched the growth crown from China, with researchers at Harvard University's Center for International Development estimating its economy will grow at a 7.7 percent average annual pace between 2015 and 2025.
