Attitude

While difficult to extrapolate whether attitude actually influences the outcome of any event, at least one can find solace in knowing that one's attitude fit the outcome. In sports if you believe that you are the superior team and you win the contest then your attitude about your chances had merit but if you believed that you were the inferior team and lost the contest wouldn't your attitude about your chances merit the same praise. Should we criticize those that assume the worst over those that assume the best.
