Stupidty Natures Unbalancing Element

"Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe". Albert Einstein
I have always believed that there is a balance in this universe to assure that ultimately one element doesn't negate another sending everything into uncontrollable and unrecoverable convulsions. While the universe tilts on controlled chaos, and I believe that chaos is a necessary component to nature and societal existence, eventually that tilt will return to balance. But stupidity, defined as behavior that shows a lack of good sense or judgment, could be that one element that if left unchecked truly could tilt society's scale beyond recovery. While we have all made decisions that we later define as stupid the fact that we were able to evaluate an action as such, is natures way of assuring that as humans we don't send society into uncontrollable and unrecoverable convulsions. What scares the universe are those that cant make that evaluation and continue to pursue a life of stupid decisions over and over again. Our challenge as rationale thinking humans is to assure that we think through decisions prior to making them, keeping those that can't in the minority and thus assuring balance.
