South Dakota BBB warns buyers about puppy scams

KSFY - 9/27/2017 - Kelley Smith - Being in the market for a new dog is like getting ready to add another member to the family. Like a lot of things nowadays, people are turning to the internet as they navigate this process. Unfortunately, scammers are right there waiting. According to a recent study from the Better Business Bureau, up to 80% of sponsored online ads for pets are fake. And some of these fake breeders say they're based right here in South Dakota.
