Woman Bilked Out Of $2,000 In Phone Scam

The Greenville Sun - 4/23/2018 - Ken Little - Greeneville police are investigating a phone scam reported Saturday that cost the victim $2,000. The scam happened between Thursday and Saturday, Officer Justin House said in a report. The victim, of West Summer Street, told police that on Thursday, she received a phone call from a person who said his company owed her money for overcharging on computer work that recently was done.
