Officials warn of 'romance scam' that targets older, lonely people

WMTW ABC - 4/19/2019 - Jennifer Crompton - The New Hampshire Attorney General's Office is warning of a scam targeting mostly older women that leaves heartbreak and broken bank accounts in its wake. The Consumer Protection Bureau is calling it the romance scam, and officials said reports of victims/18/2 are on the rise, and some have lost tens and even hundreds of thousands of dollars.
