Huntsville resident receives foreign lottery scam letter

WHNT 19 News - 4/24/2019 - Lauren Harksen - If you receive a letter in the mail saying you won a lottery out of Spain... it's probably a scam. We all hope to win a lottery one day and get thousands of dollars poured into our bank account, but some people are scheming to drain that money from your account instead. A Huntsville resident received a letter in the mail saying they won a lottery out of Madrid and it came from "The Desk of the Vice President of the Mega Lottery Picker 2019 Draw Prize Award Department."
