Kevin Hassett throws down gauntlet in tax reform battle, slams think tank

Fox Business - 10/5/2016 - Brian Schwartz - Council of Economic Advisers Chairman Kevin Hassett lashed out at the nonpartisan Tax Policy Center (TPC) on Thursday for writing an analysis of the Republican tax plan that “imagined numbers” as he delivered a keynote speech as a guest of the center itself. Hassett criticized the analysis of the think tank, which warned that the Republican plan will blow a $2.4 trillion hole into the federal budget and the wealthiest people in the United States would receive more than half the benefits from the extensive tax cuts, saying it was “scientifically indefensible,” “inaccurate” and “fiction.” Read more @ https://finance.yahoo.com/news/kevin-ha ... 00508.html
