Halfway

There are those in life that will not meet you halfway no matter what. It is as if the action reduces their perceived power or authority. I have found that if I must capitulate and meet someone more than halfway in order to resolve an issue, I make the effort as resolving the issue is my first goal. Eliminating the need to associate with that individual again becomes my second goal.
