Society exists with the belief in the phrase "Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness" which has often been confused with "Life, liberty and the guarantee of happiness". Whatever your belief is on what a civilized society's responsibility is for social justice and in the ensuring of a fairness protocol in support of the phrase, it will require an agreed upon common ground with which to establish the governing rules. An open opportunity for all leads to participation by all which leads to attainment for all. Society must demand a fairness protocol giving everyone the opportunity in support of the phrase. If one chooses not to participate in the opportunity they cannot expect "guaranteed" attainment and should accept their fate without society's support of their belief.
